Vermentino

“Vur-men-TI-no”

This Italian varietal is basically grown at only one vineyard, but it has won three Governor’s Case awards in the last five years. Its thick skins and loose clusters make it naturally resistant to rot in our humid summers. The medium-bodied white wine it produces is reminiscent of grapefruit and green apples. Keep an eye on this varietal.

Serve cold: 45-55 degrees.
